The 92 Club

Watch a match at the home ground of every club in the Premier League and the three divisions of the English Football League and you can apply to join the 92 Club, a real organization with a real membership list that's been going since 1978. It's the defining groundhopping challenge in Britain, and it's harder than it sounds because the membership changes every year — two clubs drop into the National League each May and two come up, so the list you're chasing moves under you. This map shows the 92 for the 2026–27 season, including the four Welsh clubs (Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, and Newport) who play in the English pyramid.

The famous grounds need no introduction: Old Trafford, Anfield, Villa Park, St James' Park, Goodison's successor at Bramley-Moore Dock. The list's character comes from the other end — Bromley's Hayes Lane, Harrogate's Wetherby Road, Accrington's Crown Ground, the terraced grounds in League Two where you can stand behind the goal with 2,000 others on a Tuesday night. Many groundhoppers will tell you those are the better days out.

Chasing a moving list

The usual advice is to do the lower-league grounds first, because they're the ones most likely to drop out of the 92 before you get to them, and to use the cup competitions and midweek fixtures to double up in a single trip — London alone has a dozen league grounds. Badges here are grouped by division and sorted by capacity, and the map will be regenerated each summer after promotion and relegation shake things out. Click a ground badge or its pin to mark it visited, again for want-to-go. Your ticks follow the club, not the stadium, so a new ground doesn't cost you a visit. The Scottish grounds aren't part of the 92; that's a different club with a different list.
